7 Days Morocco Dream Tour

7 Days Morocco Dream Tour

DAY 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate

The first day of our journey takes us via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, which connects Marrakech with Ouarzazate. You'll catch your first glimpse of Morocco's inherent splendor while passing through many small Berber villages.
Our first destination is Ait Benhaddou, a well-preserved fortified mountaintop that has become a UNESCO world heritage site. The spectacular architecture, landscapes, and colors of Ait Benhaddou have also served as the backdrop for several Blockbuster movies and T.V. shows, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
We'll walk down the historic streets, meet the local families, and climb to the top of a neighboring hill to enjoy the views. Exploring this place is well worth the time since it is a one-of-a-kind spot and one of Morocco's best.
We'll take a break for lunch before resuming our journey to Ouarzazate in our 4×4 vehicle.
Ouarzazate is an ancient trading center that served as the final major settlement before the caravans that crossed the Sahara. It has lately undergone extensive renovations, with improved infrastructure and lodging options, yet it maintains its unique charm. We'll visit the old kasbah buildings and streets after we arrive before heading to the hotel for dinner.
We'll rest for the rest of the evening and get some energy before continuing on with our tour.

DAY 2 Ouarzazate- Todra gorges

Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning, We drive to Dades and Todra gorges, traveling via the oasis of Skoura. We will stop to visit the kasbah of Amridil. Our trip then takes us past Kela'a M'gouna, the Rose Valley, where we pause for tea. Later, we drive off-road to the Dades gorges for lunch along the road of a thousand kasbahs. There will be time for a walk along the Boumalne Dades river in the afternoon. We drive to the Todra gorges and spend the night there.

DAY 3: Todra gorges- Merzouga desert

After breakfast, take a leisurely walk through the Todra gorges and through the Tinghir palm grove before heading to the Merzouga dunes via the Ziz valley and the Tafilalet valley. We stop for lunch after lunch, and We head to Merzouga. We go camel trekking for an hour to climb the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset from the top (250m). We have dinner and spend the night in the desert camp

DAY 4: Merzouga

A whole day relaxing in the camp

Day 5: Merzouga-Fes

We'll get up early on the last day of the journey to watch the desert sunrise. This is one of the most breathtaking scenes of the entire trip. A burst of color will dance across the dunes, gradually transforming from rich reds to bright gold. It's certainly worth getting up early; we promise you won't be disappointed!
We'll board the camels again for a traditional Moroccan breakfast, wave farewell to the Berbers, and return to the Minivan to continue on our journey to Fes.
This road leads us through the Ziz valley, which is famous for its breathtaking views of bright green fields that contrast with the dry desert's orange sands. We'll finally arrive in Midelt, which lies between the Atlas Mountains on the plains. This little town has breathtaking landscapes, friendly locals, and beautiful restaurants. We'll eat lunch there and wander the streets while watching the Barbary apes play in the trees.
Finally, we will arrive in Fes later in the afternoon and end our tour there.

Day 6: Fes sightseeing

The entire day will be spent exploring Fez, Morocco's oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city, built-in 789 B.C. by Moulay Idriss II. The Medieval Medina, the Medersas (an Islamic teaching university), the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque, and the exquisite Nejjarine fountain will all be our major highlights.
